Märklin’s got some seriously cool stuff lined up for 2025 in H0 scale! If you’re into trains, you’ll definitely want to check out their upcoming highlights. They’re bringing back some classics while introducing exciting new models.
First up, there’s the Saxon Class 19 016, nicknamed the "Pride of Saxony." It’s a steam locomotive with dynamic smoke, a powerful drive, and a neat cab firebox flicker effect. Then there’s the Stadler Euro9000 – this is the first time this hybrid workhorse is being released in H0 gauge, which is pretty exciting for modelers.
They’re also dropping a few exclusive and special editions:
- The Class E95 01 (Era 2) is a club-only model featuring digital pantograph operation.
- The Class 181.2 comes in a retro Oriental red livery, complete with digital pantographs and a buffer capacitor.
- For a bit of nostalgia, the Class 983 "Glaskasten" is a detailed 1962-restoration version of that classic small Bavarian tank locomotive.
- And if you love character-themed sets, the Elephant Express is a colorful celebratory set marking 50 years of the Mouse and Elephant characters.
They’re even rolling out anniversary packs to honor the historic Class 01 steam engine and the beloved Gislinger route.
